Edinburgh Marathon

Challenge yourself to a marathon and raise vital funds for AMREF
Edinburgh Marathon – 25th May 2008

The Edinburgh Marathon is the second largest full marathon (26.2 miles) in the UK. It’s one of the most beautiful, but also challenging, marathon courses in Europe, due to its demanding route.

If you don't fancy running the full 26.2 miles, you can get a team of four people together to take part in the Hairy Haggis Team Relay event. Each member of the team will run around a quarter of the marathon course!

Entry Ballot:

The Edinburgh Marathon Entry Ballot opened on 1st September. If you secure a place through the Ballot and would like to run for AMREF, please let us know events@amrefuk.org

Support from AMREF:

In the run up to the Marathon, AMREF will provide as much assistance and support to you as possible, encouraging you every step of the way. Your fundraising pack [Link to fundraising pack] will include fundraising ideas, sponsorship forms, advice on training, details about online sponsorship through Justgiving, and we’ll even give you your very own personalised running vest for the big day.

For further information please call 020 7269 5520 or email events@amrefuk.org
