Community participation is a vital part of AMREF's ethos in all our projects.
UK communities also play a vital role in fundraising to support these projects.
AMREF is keen to work with a variety of community groups from all over the UK. Why not get involved and help some of Africa’s poorest communities gain access to better health care.
You can support AMREF in your own community by setting up a local supporter group. Setting up a group is a great way to share skills, learn more about AMREF, have some fun and help some of Africa’s poorest communities access the health care they so desperately need.
Any money raised by your supporter group will help AMREF continue saving and transforming lives in Africa. It costs as little as £5 to immunise 5 children against polio. Many children in Africa are paralysed or die from this preventable disease. It only takes a small effort to make a big difference.
